Ranking & Recognition
The Counseling Psychology program from the University of Iowa has continually been accredited since 1980, with over 200 students receiving their doctoral degree in counseling psychology since initial accreditation in 1980. The College of Education was recently ranked the 33rd best college of education at a public university in the U.S. by U.S. News and World Report.
In 2005, Bulboltz and his colleagues in The Counseling Psychologist ranked the University of Iowa counseling psychology program 7th in research productivity across selected journals, and 19th in productivity in the Journal of Counseling.
